This seems legit to me |
Are you saved?
Are you going to heaven?
Have you been down the Romans Road?
Are you saved by Grace?
Are you continuing to work out your salvation with fear and trembling?
Can you lose your salvation?

The Easy does it Jesus |
When I was a teenager I attended a hardcore fundamentalist Christian School where I was basically forced to recite religious mantras and perform spiritual gymnastics and prostrations at the will and whim of the religious ring-leaders. From these experiences I can tell you that I never felt saved or experienced the “Grace of God”. I have many friends today (that attended that same school) who either want nothing to do with God, or they won’t even talk about their eternal soul. However, if they had a gun pressed to their head, they would probably say that they believe that Jesus was the son of God, and that He was crucified, died, and was raised from the dead. Is this enough? Will lip service make the pearly gates swing wide? Also if someone had one of those come to Jesus experiences when they were younger does that mean they are saved…Even if from that “experience” on there is no manifestation of spiritual fruit?
There are many books out today that challenge the traditional “once saved always saved” thinking; and I must say, they make some good points!
So in closing:
*Are you saved…how do you know?
*Can you lose your salvation?
*How do you feel about fear based conversion (The fire and brimstone burning in Hell stuff?)
*What is the last Christian author/book you read (Bible excluded.)
Also if you did not read this whole, albeit short post, you are probably going to hell, even though I have no scripture to back this up.
This person is definitely going to Heaven! |
